Welcome to Grenspark De Zoom – Kalmthoutse Heide

Border park De Zoom – Kalmthoutse Heide is a cross-border nature reserve with many pools, heathland, inland dunes and vast forests.

The whole area measures 3750 ha (9375 acres) and is home to some real ecological treasures. Moreover the entire park constitutes a landscape with great cultural-historical value. The area is cut through by the Belgian-Dutch border and is owned by a varied of bodies and parties: along the natural and forest areas that belong to Natuurmonumenten, Natuurpurnt and the Dutch and Flemish authorities one can find large private estates, small scale agricultural areas, and small forest properties scattered all over the region.

This diversity makes the park well worth a visit.
